Hello! Welcome to the Space Coast Post Card Club's blog. We are here to try to spread the word about the family friendly hobby of collecting post cards. We would like to invite you to join the Space Coast Post Card Club and learn about the wonderful world of post cards!
If you want to learn about history, post cards can help you with that. If you want to learn about cars, post cards can help you with that. If you want to learn about celebrities, post cards can help you with that. If you want to learn about just about anything, post cards can help you with that.
Or maybe you already have a collection of something going. Ever think of adding a few postcards to that collection? Collect tea cups? Come to our show and you'll probably find at least a few post cards with tea cups on them. Collect frogs? Well, there are post cards with frogs on them, so come and take a look. Collect shoes? That, too, is available on post cards! Just about anything you can think of collecting can be found on a post card.
Or maybe you have a favorite thing. You love cats. Come see the cat post cards at our show. You love koala bears. Come buy koala bear cards at the show. You love dirigibles. There are post cards available with dirigibles on them at the show!
Whatever you can think of — with very few exceptions — there are post cards for: outhouses to birdhouses; aardvarks to zebras; apples to oranges. Our show will have post cards available for almost all of it.

When my father died I found 6 old postcards among his things....they require a 1 cent stamp. I am trying to determine whether or not they have any value or just get general information about them. If someone is willing to look at them (I can e-mail photos to you) and tell me anything you might know about them, I would appreciate it. My e-mail address is [omitted by editor]. Thank you.

Hi, Lori! Glad you found us.
I am more than willing to take a look at your father's old postcards. Send me a pic of each of them (I have high speed internet, so it's okay) and I'll send you my idea as to what your cards may be worth. I am NOT an appraiser, just have some knowledge of these things. If I cannot give you a good idea, we have several members who are interested in many things and they can take a look at the pics and give us some good info.
I haven't tried posting pics in these forums as yet, but maybe I can learn with yours! If I can't figure out how to do that, I will just send them to the members, or post them somewhere on the regular part of our site.
